In December 2007, The Gores Group acquired 100% of Tyco Electronics’ Power Systems which comprised two entities: Lineage Power and Vincotech. Lineage Power provided power supply products and services to communications service providers and telecom and datacom OEMs; Vincotech provided power modules used in industrial applications, GPS products and electronic manufacturing services.
