We believe environmental, social, and governance (“ESG”) factors can have a significant impact on the returns profile of an investment, and therefore, we seek to integrate ESG considerations into our policies and practices as well as the strategy and operations of our portfolio companies.

Cosmo Specialty Fibers spends $155 million annually into the area economy, uses over 1,200 local and regional suppliers, and participates directly in the social life of its community, both financially and personally. The company also understands the importance of water quality so that sport and commercial fishery and the shellfish industry – a crucial part of the area’s economic diversity – can thrive. The company upholds a strong commitment to preventing pollution and promoting the production of waste reduction through its reuse and recycle program.  The company maintains several environmental certifications including ones with, the Sustainable Forestry Initiative, the Forest Stewardship Council and a Sustainable Green Printing certificate. Elo Touch Solutions is committed to promoting a cleaner environment. To minimize the negative impact of e-waste on the environment, electronic products are encouraged to be sent for proper recycling at the end of their life, not to landfills. Elo’s products and/or product packaging are labeled with a crossed-out wheelie bin which indicates that the product should not be disposed of with other household waste, but instead should be disposed and recycled properly as electronic waste. Click to learn more.
