Gores Technology Group, LLC Announces That Its Anker Unit Has Gone Public

Company Floats Shares on the Alternative Investments Market of the London Stock Exchange

Los Angeles, CA - December 23, 2004 -- Gores Technology Group, LLC ("Gores") today announced that its affiliate Anker Holdings, LLC has sold a majority of its stake in Anker B.V. ("Anker"), a company it acquired in February 2003 , and that Anker has had its shares admitted to trading on the Alternative Investments Market ("AIM") of London Stock Exchange plc. The shares commenced trading on December 23, 2004. Gores and other existing stakeholders continue to hold just under 50% of the shares of Anker upon completion of the transaction.

In 2003, Anker reported turnover of €170.9 million and restated EBITDA of €13.6 million after adjusting for discontinued operations, exceptional/restructuring and management charges.
